World Championship
April 28th - May 2nd, 2026

📍 Houston, Texas, USA

We had another great year at the FIRST World Championship! Our team competed both in Impact and robotically, excelling far past our typical robot performance, with a rank of 34th and a record of 6-4-0.

Team members also had a joy talking with other teams; trading shirts, scheduling future online meetings, discussing outreach, robot design, and planning strategy for matches.

Bayou Regional
March 31st - April 4th, 2026

📍 Kenner, Louisiana, USA

Bayou Regional was an unforgettable experience for LASER 3284. Along with competing against incredible teams and creating lasting memories, the team was honored to receive the FIRST Gracious Professionalism Award. Throughout the event, members demonstrated teamwork, kindness, and respect both on and off the field while enjoying every moment spent with the FIRST community and sharing the passion for robotics that connects teams from all over the world. We finished ranked 10th with a 6-4-0 record.

Tacos and Trivia Night
February 28th, 2026

Tacos and Trivia Night brought together community members, supporters, and team families for an evening full of food, laughter, and friendly competition. Events like this allow LASER members to share a slice of their robotics family with the community while creating a welcoming environment where people can connect, learn more about the team, and enjoy spending time together outside of competition.

Mother-Daughter STEAM Day
January 17th, 2026

At Mother-Daughter STEAM Day, LASER members shared their passion for STEM through hands-on activities and engaging demonstrations designed to inspire future innovators. The event gave participants the chance to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a fun and encouraging environment while learning directly from students who love what they do and enjoy sharing their knowledge with others.

REBUILT Season Kickoff
January 10th, 2026

The REBUILT Season Kickoff marked the beginning of another exciting robotics season for LASER 3284. Students, mentors, alumni, and supporters came together to celebrate the start of the year, build excitement for upcoming challenges, and strengthen the sense of community that defines the team. Events like this help bring people together and remind everyone of the passion, teamwork, and family atmosphere that make LASER so special.

Alumni Dinner
January 9th, 2026

Alumni Dinner gave former and current LASER members the chance to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate the lasting impact of the program. Sharing stories, experiences, and advice reminds everyone that the LASER family extends far beyond graduation and competition seasons, creating lifelong friendships and connections through a shared love of robotics and community involvement.

FLL Qualifier
December 6th, 2025

LASER 3284 proudly hosted the FLL Qualifier, with team members volunteering as referees, MCs, concession workers, and event staff throughout the day. LASER students always enjoy working with younger FIRST participants, knowing they are helping inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders. Seeing younger students develop confidence and excitement for engineering reminds team members of their own beginnings in FIRST and motivates them to continue sharing what they know and love with others in the community.

Tree Lot
November 31st - December 21st, 2025

For the past 11 years, team members and their families, coaches, and LASER progressions, support our team by working our Christmas Tree Lot. This initiative acts not only as a main contributor of funds for our team, selling hundreds of Christmas trees to Lake of the Ozarks community members each holiday season, but also as an avenue for increased connection with those in our region.

Massive Mini
November 8th, 2025

During the 2026 Pre-Season, we had the pleasure of collaborating with  Team 1764: Liberty Robotics for a second year in a row, to present our knowledge of 3D Printing and Robot Reliability, with ## other teams.

The Massive Mini is one of our favorite Pre-Season events, and LASER team members look forward to both attending and presenting each year. Through the event, we are given a sanctuary to both share our knowledge, and learn from other competitive FIRST® teams.

Cow Town Throwdown
October 24th & 25th, 2025

We attended CowTown Throwdown once again! Each year, our team members get to attend this thrilling off-season event to learn about FIRST® competitions, and celebrate the end of the previous season, and the excitement of the upcoming season.

Homecoming Parade
September 26th, 2025

LASER 3284 had an amazing time participating in the Homecoming Parade. Team members worked together to design and build a float, dress up, hand out candy, and celebrate alongside the community. The parade gave students the opportunity to spend time together outside of competition while sharing school spirit and creating fun memories as a team.
