The group working on Chairman's has been busy writing and editing the script and presentation. The Chairman's Essay will likely be submitted by the end of this week. LASER's Secretary and Treasurer are working to complete the Entrepreneurship Award Essay. A LASER team member has begun finalizing LASER's Code of Ethics.
Several aspects of the robot have been completed. Metal pieces were sent to AJ Manufacturing to be cut, and they arrived this week to be put to use on the construction of the robot. The fabricators are moving very quickly on the completion of the robot. As a result, the programmers have been able to work on more specific aspects of code as the robot becomes and more finalized.
Bryan Vance is the mentor under this week’s mentor spotlight. Bryan has been a mentor for three years. He offers a unique insight in building the robot and aids the team in the construction of game field elements. Bryan works for Ameren Missouri, an electric company based in St. Louis. Bryan is prepared for Power Up and wants us to "ad-Vance" in the competition this season!
