Mascot!

Patrick - 13 years on team - Mascot

During the 2011 St. Louis Regionals, our team took a break from the competition and headed to Incredible Pizza for food and arcade games. It wasn't just about having fun--we turned it into a team effort, working together to win as many tickets as possible. That night became a key bonding experience for us.

As we gathered at the end to pool our tickets, someone spotted a stuffed dragon hanging from the ceiling. Instantly, we knew he had to be ours. After securing the dragon, we continued the celebration on the bus, where we unanimously decided to name him Patrick. But Patrick wasn't just any prize--we wanted him to be part of something bigger. Inspired by our newfound mascot, we decided he had to make an appearance in the mascot parade. From that moment on, Patrick became more than just a souvenir--he became a cherished member of team LASER 3284, a symbol of our teamwork, spirit, and creativity.
