MISSOURI GO BABY GO!

In partnership with our friends, 1939 The Kuhnigits and 4329 the Lutheran Roboteers, we planned and ran a state wide Go Baby Go web-based event in May of 2021 to build ride-on cars for mobility impaired youth. 3284, 1939, and 4329 worked together to host a virtual social media campaign to promote the Go Baby Go! program as well as to raise awareness for youth with impaired mobility in the team's community.

SHORELINE CLEANUP

LASER collaborated with Ameren, an electric services company, and Pirate's Point, a local boat gas dock, to help clean up Lake of the Ozarks. This is an annual event that LASER is proud to join as it is important not only for the ecosystem of the Lake of the Ozarks area, but also essential to promote tourism and support the surrounding community.

CENTRAL MISSOURI FLL CHAMPIONSHIP

As the FLL Affiliate for Central Missouri, LASER restructured the Central Missouri FLL Championship to accommodate for local and CDC COVID -19 health requirements. Teams competed individually to accommodate for social distancing protocols. LASER volunteers wore masks and cleaned all touch surfaces to ensure proper sanitation practices. While spectators were not allowed in the tournament to minimize health risks, 3284's volunteers cheered on each team as they completed their in-person events.

While LASER 3284 has helped the Camdenton Optimists run their Christmas tree lot for several years, this year marked the first year that LASER 3284 offered this service independently. A special thank you to the Optimists for donating the trailer, fencing and ordering the trees for the LASER programs. We love providing this service for our community and 100% of the profits go to support the FIRST progressions of programs K-12. Merry Christmas and Happy New year!
