WOODIE FLOWERS FINALIST AWARD WINNERS
Every year, students submit and write an essay nominating one of their mentors for theWoodie Flowers Finalist Award. This award was created by Dr. William Murphy in 1996 in order to bring Dr. Woodie Flowers' effective communication skills.
At each regional competition, the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award is presented to one adult mentor. At the FIRST® Championship, any previous Woodie Flowers Finalist award winner can be nominated for the Woodie Flowers Award.
LASER has had the honor of having multiple amazing mentors who have been recipients of the Woodie Flowers Finalist awards.
